Simeon

As a Senior Product Designer at Quantive, I contributed to the company’s most innovative products by building flexible, scalable, and user-centered design solutions. Over two years, I worked closely with cross-functional teams. I played a pivotal role in developing AI-driven features, mentoring fellow designers, and implementing design systems that streamlined the company’s workflow. My contributions spanned various high-pressure projects, where my skills in UI/UX, AI integration, and leadership were vital to driving the company’s success.

My Role

I was responsible for the UI and UX of Quantive’s flagship AI projects, leading the design of innovative solutions for how users create and maintain their strategic objectives with AI. I built scalable design systems that enhanced user interactions, including a robust AI suggestion system integrated seamlessly throughout the product. I also collaborated extensively with VPs, Product Owners, and engineers to design and implement flexible interfaces that met the company’s evolving needs.

Process and Collaboration

I was deeply involved in every stage of the design process:

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: I worked closely with engineers on all levels, presenting innovative layout solutions and educating them on the benefits of flexible design systems. My work was vital in the Pricing and Repackaging Initiative, where I collaborated with teams from Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to create successful solutions under high pressure.
User Research and Testing: I conducted thorough user research, gathering feedback through surveys and interviews to ensure the designs were aligned with user needs. Each UX flow and design was rigorously tested before production, ensuring the final product met user expectations and business goals.
Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentoring junior designers was crucial to my role. I helped them refine their UX practices and brought new UI/UX standards to the organization. I also empowered colleagues with the latest design trends and AI-related knowledge.

Challenges and Solutions

Incorporating AI into enterprise-level applications was one of the most exciting challenges. It required specific thinking about the technical details, information security, and unstable AI services. I developed a comprehensive AI suggestion system designed for scalability and flexibility, which became a core feature of Quantive’s strategy platform. I also built a complex design system for all AI components, including chat interfaces, error states, and empty states, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience was cohesive and intuitive.
